Khilafah: The Only Way Forward for the Muslim Ummah

Hizb ut-Tahrir, in Bangladesh organized a seminar today at the National Press Club on the subject "Khilafah: The Only Way Forward for the Muslim Ummah." About 1000 people from all walks of
life attended the seminar which was organized as part of the global campaign by Hizb ut-Tahrir on the occasion of the destruction of the Khilafah on 28th Rajab 1342 AH (3rd March 1924). Chief Coordinator and Spokesman of the party Mohiuddin Ahmed and senior member Ahmed Jamal Iqbal delivered the speeches at the seminar. The seminar was chaired by Deputy Spokesman Kazi Morshedul Haque and members of the party – Mowlana Mamunur Rashid, Mustafa Minhaz, Mawlana Raqib, Mamunur Rashid Ansari, Zituzzaman Hoque and Kaiser Shahnawaz – were present on the panel.

Around 5,000 people attended a grand rally and demonstration organized by Hizb ut-Tahrir Bangladesh after Jummah prayers at Muktangon (main political centre of Dhaka city). Chief Coordinator and spokesperson of Hizb ut-Tahrir Bangladesh, Mohiuddin Ahmed, said the US-Indian imperialists are conducting a malicious campaign targeted against Islam and Muslims of Bangladesh. He said AL-BNP's divisive politics has left the nation vulnerable to the evil plans of anti-nation and anti-Islamic elements.

Hizb ut-Tahrir organised a grand rally today Friday 1st of July 2005 in Dhaka city's main political square, Muktangon. The event was attended by over three thousand Hizb ut-Tahrir activists and supporters including over 500 women and children.
